Dannete Wilkerson
Dannete Wilkerson, affectionately known as Coach Dannete, is a therapist that holds Christian values and takes a holistic and strategic approach to guiding individuals toward their own emotional, spiritual, physical, and financial wellness. She does not impose her values on her but believes one’s personal spiritual values provides a valuable resource for prevention and intervention.
Utilizing evidence-based treatment plans, she integrates mental health principles with a comprehensive Mind, Body, Spirit Wellness Model, empowering clients to achieve balance, resilience, and long-term well-being. Her primary focus is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their personal and professional growth with clarity and confidence. Coach Dannete has been an integral activist with multiple organizations and programs engaging youth and young adults in mental health and physical activities to include organizations such as Envy Athletics, the Los Angeles Urban League, GymRatz L.A., Westchester High School, NAACP, Faithful Central Bible Church, where she is an Elder, and the Tri-Cities Mental Health Authority, where she is a commissioner.
Dannete graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling where she also earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual focus in Behavioral Sciences and Religion. She is registered with the State of California as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #17463), has an earned designation as a National Certified Counselor (NCC #1735164) with the National Board of Clinical Counselors, and holds board certification as a Mental Health Coach with the Board of Mental Health Coaching. She is a mother of 2, a grandmother of 4, and resides in La Verne, California where she personally enjoys line dancing and training cheerleaders and gymnasts.
